Early intervention of difficult behaviors help children learn new ways to cope and develop skills for lifetime benefit. Children have the opportunity to communicate their feelings, beliefs, and concerns through verbal and non-verbal expression (including play therapy and art therapy) which promote emotional healing and growth as well as skill development.

Dr. Berrett specializes in thorough evaluations assessing a child's cognitive, achievement, social, emotional, attention, and behavioral development and functioning. The evaluation process consists of gathering background information, acquiring feedback of symptoms through standardized rating scales from those who interact with the child, child face-to-face standardized testing using both objective and projective measures, and behavioral observation of the child.
